Review of BodyLine L497: Sweets/Melly House

This is my review of BL's L497 JSK: Melly House

First of all: stock photo:

Fabric: strange kind of cotton

Review:

So...first of all I have to say I couldn't choose which color I like the most - so I've ordered 2 versions: pink and black :P

Fabric: this king of cotton is kinda strange, a little bit stiff? But I think after few washing in softener it will be more soft and nice :)

JSK has shirring and corset lacing at back, so it's quite universal. I've ordered 2L size, and I can say that measurements at the BL's site are quite accurate.

Measurements:

At BL's site there's:

Waist 84-92cm

I measured this dress and in the matter of fact measurements are:

Length: 95 cm

Bust: 82 - 112 cm (min with strongly lacing but then it isn't looking good, max with no lacing)

Waist: 73 - 99 cm (min-max witch lacing and no lacing)



Details:

1. Lace could be done better.

2. Good idea is a possibility of adapting the shoulder straps, so JSK can fit better :)

3. Zipper at the left side of dress

4. Detachable bow

5. Waist-ties are not detachable



In my opinion: 8,5/10 (-1 point for strange kind of cotton and another -0,5 point for bad finished lacing)

I bought this OP few months ago - my first OP, woo hoo! ;)

I bought 2L size 'cause I thought M will be too small - stupid me - I forgot about accuracy of BL ;) But it's ok :)

Review:

This OP is made of really nice cotton ^^ It's so soft and nice for skin. Most of laces (I'm not sure about roses lace) are made of soft cotton :) There is a shirring at the back and in the arms. Thar is quite bad is that this OP is heavy (2L is almost 0,9 kg!)so petti under it must be really puffy to hold it and not become too flat.

The biggest bow is detachable (and it can be used as head-bow, you only need a simple headband)  :) Except the biggest bow there are few smaller which are not detachable: there are: 2 at the décolletage, 2 at front bottom and 2 at back bottom of the OP - and they're lovely! :D

Waist-ties and neck-ties are not detachable, but the second ones you can hide in your décolletage ;) Waist-ties are done really pretty but only at front side - I'll show you what I mean in photos. Another important thing is that the OP has no zipper! No corset lacing at the back! Those corset lacings at front are only for decoration :) 

Measurements:

As I said - I took 2L. The measurements at the BL site are quite accurate.

Bust: 88 - 114 cm

Waist: 80 - 100 cm 

Length: about 96-100

Arm-hole: 30 - 44 cm

So as you can see - it's a little bit bigger than it says at BL's site :)

BodyLine Cake JSK review

This is gonna be a review of BL's Cake JSK (don't know the BL's number of it) This JSK is no longer available at their site.


First of all - stock photo:

I bought mine by second hand, so I don't know what was the original price. I was a little bit angry because it had some stains which I haven't known about :/ But it's still cute *______* Stains are not so visible :3 And I bought it also without the bow :c

This JSK is a bustle style and it has fake underskirt :) 

JSK is made of really nice cotton :) It's soft and...omg I love this jsk.. *w* At décolletage there's soft, cotton lace, which is also at the bottom part of the jsk. 

It has (as you can see) waist-ties which are not detachable. I don't have a bow which was detachable (and probably previous owner has lost it or sth like that).

Bust part of the jsk is almost full shirred :) Only non-shirred part is a little pert at the back - this part has corset lacing (white silk ribbon) :) Also arm-straps are kinda shirred :D

Bottom part of the jsk, which has lace, has saxon blue ribbon, which is really cute ^w^

This JSK has no zipper!


Measurements:

I don't know what were those measurements originally at the BL, so I don't have comparison.

Length: 87 - 96 cm

Bust: 60 - 120 cm

Waist: free ( max is about 135 cm)

Lolita!!! *w* I'm into lolita like 2 years? Yeah, Sth like that :) My 1000% fave style is sweet lolita <3 And after sweet I like gothic lolita as well. This is about my likings. In live I wear mainly sweet :) i think I have only 1-2 gothic dresses although whole my live I was wearing black/dark clothes.
